So far the report is that the only thing pointed at agents was his phone camera. It appears that the legally possessed pistol was not even discovered until he was on the ground being detained and pummeled by several ICE agents. You are interpreting the video and other evidence differently from most reports, even with a contradictory version by you.

Is already hard enough to police the police as the Thin Blue Line protects bad apples on every police force in America. I do not say that lightly. Spouses get beat. DUIs are never written. Substance abuse is ignored.

Now, when there is a green light given for LEO to use excessive and deadly force with zero risk of repercussions then you get bad actors executing people because they can. Most LEO hate to draw on anyone but do their job. We are seeing LEO that seem to look to create an escalation so they can discharge their weapon.

Where was the support for LEO on January 6 when a woman was shot? She was hailed as a martyr. Now, the same people blindly accepting January 6 as acceptable are saying "just obey ICE and you won't get unalived." This is how a cult behaves as I can not find a way to condemn the VA nurse today and not the January 6 woman yet we are now told January 6 was a patriot deserving life and January 24 was an agitator deserving death. In both cases, LEO were using lethal force.

Some evidence of how unjustified this was, is that so few of the posters who defended ICE after the Renee Good shooting, are not posting after this.

I've read about Mr. Pretti, and he seems like a young man that would make any father proud. He excelled at his work, and had empathy for his fellow humans. His occupation attracts those that want to care for others.

If this is not the turning point, heaven help us. If it does not start to get better, it is going to get much much worse.
