It is also quite obviously a very weak instrument compared with Barack Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) of 2015, which President Trump tore up in 2018 in the belief that he could improve upon it, and has repeatedly denounced because of the financial incentives it gave Iran.

It would take a very committed partisan to say that the carrots for Iran here are not more enticing, and the sticks less intimidating, than those of the JCPOA.

What we're seeing now, what 1/2 of this country is supporting, is almost certain to make Newsome the next president.

Newsom has fked CA in ways that haven't even been implemented. I wonder who the major stakeholders are in the energy monopoly? Who do you guess are some of his immediate family members? Why are taxes outrageous for the common residents but reduced or free for select corporations? Why are fuel costs 20-40% higher than the rest of the nation? Taxes on taxes on taxes.
