Finally got hit for a Late Kaibab Deer tag.

Here's to hope - 26 points (paltry on the scale of AZ point holders) and my 252nd sheep application means that eventually, tomorrow, my ticket will be drawn.

Here's to reality - I'll likely spend late November somewhere other than Arizona, such as hunting in my general Montana elk tag.......which isn't a bad consolation prize.

I expect you are familiar with that hunt, but just in case you'd like some input let me know. I've hunted the unit 4 times, including one late rifle. Quite familiar with the routine.

That’s my guess for our party too, a December dik dik hunt in AZ is hard to pass up. Either way, a 2.5 point average shouldn’t have drawn. Will be fun to spend Christmas break down in AZ.
