Arizon 6a muzzleloader

Looking at Arizona 6a muzzleloader hunt looks like November 15-21 need to pull the trigger on application soon I have 8 points and have been researching all hunts would like to keep the odds in my favor and go with a gun. Not sure if I am on the right track or not and ideas would be helpful need to get this in soon thanks. Have looked at late rifle hunt last also but seams like the good hunts are pushing 12-14 points

8 points gives you a chance at most of the late firearm hunts. 6A has a ton of elk and I'm sure you can find something if you hunt hard. If it were my application I'd probably go with Unit 1, 23, or 27 as first choice and the 6a late muzzy tag second choice. Your chances of drawing the 6a tag will still high as a 2nd choice.
