Anyone loose their Buffalo?

The wife pulled up at the house about a hour ago and sent me a message saying we had Buffalo in our front yard. We live hundreds of miles away from the only wild herd in the Wichita mountains in SW Oklahoma so I'm sure they're someone's livestock but am not aware of any neighbors that own any. Sheriff's department is on its way out now. Lived in the country most my life and thought I'd seen it all.

If we're talkin' bison rustlin' I might advocate for shifting their career path to a more investment-oriented direction. The adults are worth a few grand a piece. Why have burgers when you can have literal cash cows?

They don't look very fat and shiny, like they should this time of year.

They probably were tired of starving and went on walk about.
