Anyone installed a B&W turnover ball?

I am wanting to add a gooseneck hitch to my 1 ton. Has anyone done the install themselves? Is it worth it or should I just pay someone to do it? It’s just such a pain to find the time and somewhere to get it done.

They charged 1300 for a Reese hideaway in Kalispell in 2020, which I thought was fair. You have to pull the bed, if I recall correctly.

Put one in my wife’s 2004 Dodge when it was new. Fairly straightforward install-didn’t need to remove bed. Scariest part was cutting the hole in the bed.

Measure three times cut once! Most pickups you wont need to pull the bed, just depends on your specific make model
