Anyone have a $399 walmart wall tent?

I saw your comment about the camp chef stove. 2 of my buddies have them. 1 has the 2 burners and griddles, the other has the 3 burners and griddles. We use them annually for a Penn Creek fishing trip for the green drake hatch in Centre County, PA. They work great. We've made many of great meals for crews of 4 to 10 people.

Wallyworld may have a July 4th sale come up towards the end of month. As of today, this $399 tent is $649.

I bought one when they went on sale a couple years ago. Haven't drawn a decent tag to use it yet. Set it up in the backyard on a 40 degree day, stove did good and was warm.

Guilty! 😂 on my 3rd season and it’s done well. Haven’t tested it through heavy snowfall just a few inches, and mostly early season elk, pronghorn, upland hunts truck camping.

I own one of these. Lived in it for 1.5 yrs and have hunted in it every winter since. Left it up all winter with out any problems. I also own a traditional canvas tent. I prefer this one because of lighter weight and light frame. Haven't had any issues at all with condensation but I use a wood stove and it keeps the air dryer.. for the price this tent really is a fabulous deal. Ya the frame may seem Jenky when assembling , but once it is fully set and fastened down it's solid and has held up very well to hard use and cold weather. One of the kids messed up the zipper and I had to sew in a new one but it wasn't due to a failure of the tent quality. Kids are hard on zippers even when they are careful. (I replaced it with a heavy-duty metal one.. let's see if they can bugger the teeth up on this one). The price has gone up to between 650 and 799 ..it keeps changing. So this is sad.. but it is still worth the price. Good tent for the buck.(ps. For those having condensation issues.. vent 2 windows slightly or befor you place your canvas on the frame , put down a light blanket or sheet or a sheet of plastic to give a second barrier. The sheet or light blanket will wick any moisture away and prevent a build up and any of the 3 gives you an "insulated" barrier.. and airspace between the top and Inner layer which prevents moisture from happening. Use a wood stove not a propane stove... propane gives off vapor and creates moisture. And if you are boiling water.. vent your windows even if it's 40 below. Growing up as an outfitter and spending a life time in the Bob Marshal Wilderness has taught me many tricks to help me cope thru the tent life struggles.)
