WTB an old battered wall tent

Hello Hunttalkers,

I am a fairly active member for a while and I am looking for a very specific setup. I am looking to buy a wall tent from someone who has one that is on the end of its expected lifecycle or maybe only 20% tent life left. I have started hunting with my boys this year and I anticipate that we will have around 8-10 years of hard get after it style hunts. I am looking for a wall tent and stove combo that could sleep 4-6 people. I will only be deploying it from my 03 tundra. So weight is not an issue. My historical track record of using and abusing tents means that I anticipate I will be burning the tent or using it for livestock blankets after the end of this phase of life, so I am looking for something that is used and abused for you but still somewhat functional. I am not interested in something that is next to new with a next to new price. Also I could care less about how old it is. I drive an 03 tundra with a rusty roof and 250k miles on with water that leaks in from multiple places, it is ugly but it still works. So long story short if you or a relative you know has an ugly but functional wall tent that is just collecting rust and mold and you want to get rid of it. let me know and we can talk price or maybe trade.

We have an old, now retired 12x12 Cabelas Alaknak that is functional but leaks a little. Unfortunately we are a few states away from you. Including the wood stove, I would think $200 is fair, basically its whats worth anything to most people. Not worth shipping or fuel for the distance. Also 4 people would fit with little room to spare. 6 with a stove is probably too tight. Best of luck.
