Anyone ever experience WHMA in Wyoming?

I know of at least one HMA that allows camping within it's boundaries, just not willy nilly dispersed camping. It's one spot that is publicly accessible whether one is using the HMA or not. That said, I agree with Buzz, its a very good program and the best well run private land/public access program I have experience with.

Besides, I prefer to have Buzz cook my breakfast for me and not the state.

The area where I hunt, allows camping on any of the private HMA land. The canyons are gated to exclude vehicles, so it is along the road. That is a great landowner, in my opinion.

Wow, that got crazy quick.But I agree with Buzz.Please respect the hma rules,and contribute a few dollars if your hunting on one

I agree with Buzz 100% some HMA are excellent some are ok. I always contribute I feel it is one of the best programs for access. With all the BLM land in Wyoming I can't even believe anyone would ever worry about camping. Also, in the ranch rules or permission slips it has the ranch address to send the land owner coupon.
