Anyone else see this?

Would love to see a honest pull on how many here would have taken that animal in those situations. Put me in the grip and grin side
I would have shot it for sure and then stuffed it right into the closet.

Interesting that the landowner thought he was giving permission for retrieval rather than hunting. Seems like that should’ve been really clear from any phone conversation.

Few years ago we watched as bulls sat in the snow and starved to death.

I've got a real disgust for folks who bait, and ESPECIALLY into winter.

Pretty interesting, I read it and started thinking about how social media might of screwed the guy, then got to the end with the neighbor whose pissed, and "confusion" about hunting vs retrieval.

So to summarize, a new record bull(allegedly),shot under shady circumstances and over bait, replaces tge previous record shot after ten of thousands in finders fees and helicopter searches to kill it.

How exciting

I’m curious as to how much of this was planned. He had to of known about that bull and I’d assume dumped a pile of money into the raffle for it. Sounds like he was living on a refugee so then they had to wait for him to come off it. For a yard bull I think he probably had a fair amount of work into it knowing full well if he killed that beast everyone would do exactly what they are doing now. Him being an archery guy may have really played into his hands also given the proximity to houses. Either way I think most people are pist he figured out a way to kill that monster
**Had the money to figure out a way to kill that monster
