Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

Took off some housing exposure today for small loss. The data from the space continues to be bad.

Seems there is some disagreement on the whole 10 point plan. Israel wants to continue to bomb Hezbollah and US and Iran are arguing over the "toll". Whole thing looks held together by glue and duct tape.

I was thinking scotch tape and silly puddy.

Regarding the fragile cease fire. Who could doubt the word of the Iranians, or Trump?

I hope it leads to some resolution, but would not bet on it.

Its pretty simple.

Thanks to the stupid decisions of the Trump administration after they joined Israel in starting the war, the country with all the leverage is Iran.

Israel hits Lebanon harder than ever AFTER the supposed cease fire agreement? It doesn't matter what the US says or does, Iran can claim the agreement was breached and keep the straight closed.

Most every objective stated as a reason by the US for starting the war has not been accomplished.

Allies have turned the other way and refused to help.

Iran is talking about collecting money before allowing ships to pass through the strait.

A cluster of epic proportions.

It is difficult to refute what you post, on the facts.

Everyone in the world is paying more for oil products than before the war started. Prices will not begin to decline significantly, until there is a lasting peace. How fast they come down, depends on how much damage is done to the oil infrastructure.

Iran was previously sanctioned, and had left the Strait of Hormuz open for international trade. Now they are declaring sovereignty over the Strait, and the right to charge a toll, for passage thru the Strait. I'd suspect they will demand to have all sanctions ended, if they are to agree to a peace plan.

We have strained our relationship with NATO partners, first by blindsiding them with the onset of the war. Later by complaining about their reluctance to join a preemptive war.

We failed in the effort to cause a regime change. We have not taken possession of the enriched uranium.

Other than bombing the shit out of things, and killing the older leaders, there is not much to point to. What is left is a population that will have further evidence of why they hate Israel and the US. They still possess the knowledge to build a nuclear weapon. I have to think that they realize that if they did have nuclear weapons, none of this would have happened. Many other non nuclear weapon countries have to consider whether they need one, to dissuade other countries from messing with them.

I'll get back in when oil is back down to $60 a barrel.

How about drone technology? Know any good companies in that area?
