Any hockey fans out there?

Heck of an NCAA Championship game. Congrats to Denver.
My daughter hosted the watch party. I was the lone UW grad amongst all the DU alums, and sitting pretty well the first 44 minutes.

DU looked exhausted, but that is one well-coached team that never abandons their structure and just needed a break. NTM their goalie was stellar. Could have easily been 4-0 going into the 3rd.

Big step for the badgers this year, lots of positives.

Then I raced up to Ball Arena for the last 47 minutes of that one. Nothing on the line for the Avs minus personal milestones, but still a decent game. Somehow coach Bednar ended up in the hospital, though (took a puck to the cheek that I didn’t eve notice, apparently OK, but getting more tests)

And we couldn’t pull the 5 gobblers this opening morning 150 yards off private, so on paper a rough day, but had a blast all the same.

Look at that, The Wall of St. Paul gets the nod to start game one. Well earned and I hope he does well. I also hope that dont change things up and regardless of how he does, the Gus Bus goes in game 2 and they just alternate games. Don't change the season flow, its a long playoffs to make it to the end.

Stars are good...but sounds like a bunch of key players hurt while most of the better wild players are healthy and well rested.

Holy cow...went to the mailbox and took a quick shower and the wild scored three goals in 6 minutes!?!
what a statement from MN. Watching the building clear out with 15 to go made me smile (also, when Wallstedt punched Mikko in the head)

This PIT/PHL game looks like it’s going to be a great one, also.

Best playoffs in sports

The Wall of St. Paul was a beast shutting down a very potent offensive. Let's hope we can continue that on Monday!

I'm curious to see how the Tampa/Montreal series will go. If Tampa loses, could this be the start of their downfall? They're an older team and have traded away so many draft picks

Trenin credited with 13hits and M Folignio 7. Damn! The guys scoring goals get the credit but these guys are doing the work.

PIT/PHL could be a good series with teams looking pretty even. I wish I could care more about it. 🤷‍♂️

Sabres kept firing on net and finally broke thru and the onslaught began. This team is never dead! My buddy was at the game and hear said it was complete bedlam down the stretch!!
