Just read in a local newspaper where a hunter nailed what may be the #5 buck of all time in Ohio. It is an 8 Point typical, 8" brow tines, 13+" G2's, 26"(?) inside spread. This one came from about 50 miles dead north of where the Beatty buck was taken last year. From the picture it was by far the most symetrical rack I've ever seen. Where he got it is no big surprise to us locally. WD

'Nut, I live about 12 miles from where this one was killed. That territory I mentioned is a strip of corporate owned land about 5 miles away that stretches about 7-8 miles to about where this one was harvested.

It would look like some one yelled Crispy critters if they ever opened that area up to even bow only (don't get your hopes up, it won't happen). We will drive by there in the winter after the deer "herd up" just to see some of the monsters that live there come out into the CRP fields to feed at dusk. One evening there were 16 different vehicles lined up there just to watch one area.

Oh, I'd like to get a crack at one of 'em that is for sure. WD
