Almost pulled the trigger, about 26" wide, good fronts, high but weak rears, but just not quite there....

Hunting rims is a good time.

Figured I bring a couple home for enchiladas and fajitas.

Public land bulls out here are pressured as well as tough - these two were both shot multiple times with various 6.5 Grendels and various other interesting calibers:rolleyes:.....

The pilot waved to me on this overpass.

This mountain lion wasn't shy about walking down a USFS road.

A minus 15 windchill, a beautiful morning to be hunting public land deer. Sharptails were arguing amongst themselves below me and flights of geese were noisily passing through the cloud cover overhead. Maybe next year that buck will "be worthy"................

Great pictures Tim. Those 6.5s just bounce right off critters.

You get strafed by B1B's too? Happened to me last year in eastern Montana.

Imagine our enemies when they open their bays! B-1s are an awesome force!

Pics make it enjoyable to follow your event. Appears a great time! I sure would have dropped a 26" spread though my last was 24" and thought that was " 'y-uge"... :)

Grats on an enjoyable time, thanks for sharing.

Squeezed a lot of adventure our of Montana(?) this fall.

1, gotta be mindful  about the shot under certain circumstances...............
Federal "Prairie Storm" is useless for it's intended target, roosters - but is deadly on turkeys with a full choke at long range.
