Real quick, I just wanted to say that the music in this thread isn't fast enough. The energy dump from fast music is important to angst management, just sayin'.

Moving on, it is monumentally unfortunate that stodgy, grumpy, right-wing anti-government boomers/elder Xers don't get along better with uppity, disaffected anti-government leftist youngsters. Guess who was inspired by who! The angst and disillusionment of having to share the same current world should be unifying feelings. The youngsters have the decency to embrace Johnny Cash and Hank Williams (I've seen em on the TikTok), can't the same time be made for The Vandals and The Rezillos? I know for a fact some of the old timers around here would like that old UK oi punk if they ever had a chance to listen to it.

My niece enjoys this band (The Used) and she is quite angsty, so if they've passed her inspections then it's probably up to snuff. Though from my brief exposure, I'd say they could be faster.

Extra points if its pissed off women, tbh. Their angst is different from ours and it sounds freaking great.
