Two things about the above quote. Why are you making fun of the guy who shot the deer. Both deer would have wound up dead if he didn't. Its fair chase in my book, its obvious this hunt was not a "road" or "pen" hunt the guy just happened to stumble upon this awesome sight. Since you only shoot "dinks" I see why you would not have killed the buck, but I bet 99% of hunters would have.

Also... I'm not a bow hunter (yet), but what is the matter with this shot. From what I saw the buck was dumping the blood and expired rather quickly and plus a shot like that there is no way one should not have recovered the buck. Was his shot a little low, missing lungs or what?

A heart shot The thing was alive for a for a LONG time. Critters shot in the lungs don't last 60 secs. But I guess you right, heart all the way.

I am sure that deer was hyped on andrenaline and could of took a worse hit and still stayed up..............but yes that was no heart shot. Look at the awesome penetration he got, that reeks of the broadhead hitting the bottom of the rib cage.

Lets skip the VFW and Bingo chicks and go striaght for the ones at the casino, that way they have drinks in em and money to boot. Lets party Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the awesome penetration he got, that reeks of the broadhead hitting the bottom of the rib cage.
