That terrain is horrific for two and four footed creatures alike. No way any self respecting self preservational big game animal would go off trail over those rounded rocks.

This series is gonna get expensive for the history channel if they keep it in Africa.

Clay Hayse would have been able to open up a meat market with his archery skills and animal populations. This season’s contestants didn’t seem to have the same kind of hunters as we’ve seen on other seasons (Clay, Roland, Jordan)

Second place finisher had a poor location for catching fish. It seemed like there was no consideration of moving camp to a main lakeside location.

I thought the same. Would have been wild to watch this season drag a bit more in such a game rich environment.

Still shaking my head at Ol’ boy that didn’t bring a fire starter OR blanket. Like what the hell did he bring different? Obviously nothing that let him succeed.

In all the "Alone" seasons they always showed the removal of shelters and I was waiting for the 'No Trace" of the rock house. I guess it was too much work.

Dude wasn't building a shelter but a full-blown homestead.

This season was pretty disappointing. Alone: Australia this year was very good, though. Both Muzz and Shay are tougher than woodpecker lips.

There are apparently a couple of other Alone international versions-- Scandinavia, Germany, etc. Anyone know if those are available for viewing in the US?
