I sent that off to some of the folks I worked with at Bridger Aerospace. They are heavily invested in the Canadian made scoopers. I’m hoping to hear Senators Sheehys take as well. It was his company prior to becoming senator for Montana(endorsed by Trump).

There goes the Beaver and the Otter. With implementation of a rule like that he will be the first republican presidential candidate to lose Alaska after he changes the rule to allow himself to run a 3rd time.

As many probably already know its fake news. Or selective news. Google it and read the article. Does not appear to apply to currently certified planes only new. And would appear to only be in place until Canada certifies the Gulf Stream which it states they were not going to do. Do I think its a good look no way. Should it have been said publicly. No. But it appears 100% retaliatory from the outside looking in.

It’s just more word salad. As @mtmiller points out in his post - The FAA handles ‘certification’ and it is not in any way bounded by economics. Plus, if existing aircraft were grounded that would mean the majority of Regional jets (Bombardier makes the CRJ) would be grounded which would screech air travel to a halt in this country.



These made up trade wars are so dumb and continue to get dumber on the daily.
