My next door neighbor is a 90yo man with alzheimers. Every morning at around 9am he walks over to my house and knocks on the door and asks me if I have seen his wife because he woke up and can't find her. This means that every single morning I need to answer the door and explain to a 90yo man that his wife has been dead for quite some time.

Now I have thought about moving. I've thought about just not answering the door. But honestly it is just worth it to get to see the huge smile on his face.
