About 18 years ago, when I was in the Army, we did this thing called a 'Unit Climate Survey'. They were used to gauge morale of your particular unit and were anonymous so that the command could get a fair idea of some of the issues affecting said unit and how to possibly remedy those issues. Of course this was in the middle of OIF and everybody was tired, upset about constant deployments, and disillusioned with our chain of command (COC).
We order you to be happy or be shot! Typical military protocol.About 18 years ago, when I was in the Army, we did this thing called a 'Unit Climate Survey'. We filled out the surveys being as honest and impartial as we could, (like good soldiers should), and believing maybe this was our one chance to voice our concerns so issues could be fixed. Well, our COC read the surveys and instead of taking them for what they were and finding a way to fix some of the issues affecting our unit cohesion and combat readiness, promptly lost their shit. I remember standing in formation while we were berated and yelled at by our CO for being 'ungrateful and soft' among other more colorful descriptions. Needless to say, morale never improved. Im guessing the COC was stumped as to why unit performance continued to suffer.... The beatings continued, but unfortunately, morale never improved.
I second this message, except for it to be a 150 core lokt.My son this year…. He swears up and down the first spike is eating a 100 grain core lokt.
