Going through the process of finding a new holster, preferably leather for all around use of a 4” N Frame. Have used Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancakes in the past and will probably fall back on them if I don’t find something different. Outside-the Waist band belt holster that doesn’t allow the holster or gun to move on while walking. I look forward to seeing what you all recommend! Pictures never hurt!

A.E. Nelson Holsters Scio, Oregon. I have them on my 6" N frame S&W 41 mag and my 4" 629 S and W 44 mag and my S&W model 13 K frame

Prices are fair, workmanship excellent.

I really have liked my Sourdough Pancake for the Redhawk. I’ll probably end up with another, they just are very wide on my hip. It’s doable, was just hoping to have a slightly smaller footprint on my belt. I may reach out to Rob Leahy and see if he can slim it down some.

I have and really like the sourdough for my 629 4”.

I like the second belt slot on that holster so you can carry it crossdraw (my preferred method on a pack).

I have a 4” S&W 500 in a Galco D.A.O. and a 5” 629 in a Galco Phoenix. I prefer the thumb break of the Phoenix — just in case I ever need to use my “quick draw” skills. 😀
