3 shots - 3 deer with the 22-250

My granddaughter took her 3rd buck today in three years of hunting .She did it with her 22-250 ,all one shot kills !
her first was killed with a 50 grain VMAX bullet the last two with 55 Nosler partitions all my hand loads.Shots were 75- 120 and 260yards. No tracking ,two dropped in there tracks the one today went about 50 feet. This gal can shoot !!

Just try to tell her a 22-250 is to small to hunt deer with.

We had a 50gr .224 vmax splat and fail to penetrate on a coyote just a big flesh wound. Stick with the partitions for the young lady.

Congrats to the young lady! With the right bullets, the .22cals are, IMO, more than enough for deer. That said, Nosler only makes a 60gr Partition... I'd like to try their new 64gr BSB, but IN doesn't allow rifles like that for deer hunting.
