It was a great tournament! This is the most brutally honest sport anyone can compete in (at least scholastically). If you have flaws in position, technique, endurance, or the mental game- you are exposed. You savor the wins and deal with the discomfort of loss the rest of your life. Wrestlers are a truly unique breed, and I'm proud to have been a part of it. That being said, it looks like we have a winner(s):

Messenbrink from Penn State wins the Hodge Trophy (mvp for the season). I kind of thought Jax Forrest would win but I’m glad he did not since he only wrestled a half a season. Messenbrink was the right choice in my mind.
