When do they usually release the tags available in the secondary draw? Is it when the secondary application period opens?

Congratulations. Except your tag didn't go to someone who saved more points. Eff the hybrid draw. Not blaming you for taking advantage of it being offered.I got lucky and drew a bull tag in the hybrid with only 6 points. Very unexpected. Can’t wait to return to a unit I haven’t hunted since I was a kid.
We all better get used to it. 2028 is coming and a LOT of people are going to be really pissed off.Congratulations. Except your tag didn't go to someone who saved more points. Eff the hybrid draw. Not blaming you for taking advantage of it being offered.

If I were still in the CO PP pool, I'd be plenty pissed. Hybrid is a bandaid on a decapitation, screws over high point holders and doesn't touch the basic problems of point creep.can't wait

It amounts to a CPW preference (pun intended) for low point applicants over those who got in line sooner. I don't fault them for maximizing revenue through points and applications, and they did give some notice this is coming so high point holders could cash out. No phux given about how WY manages their game and licenses, with all kindness and deepest respect. Everyone who pays and gets in line for an opportunity, then enjoys it when the rules are changed to reduce that opportunity, raise your hand. One's perspective depends on whether you gain or lose by this change. I'd be among the losers, and I'd resent it.i mean, not necessarily in a callous way, but i have no pity and couldn't care less.
for many it was a conscious choice to grow old holding out hopes for a tag nobody ever said you were gonna be guaranteed to get. either it was a choice or it was complete ignorance but neither entitles one to anything. i'm not singling you out or saying you're that guy here, so please don't take it that way.
the new split is a bonus anyway, so high point holders still have a degree of preference.
everyone knows you can't fix point creep without just doing away with the points and that ain't never happening. this is just some democratization for the most part.
everyone glazes wyoming for giving everyone a random chance at nearly every tag and then colorado goes the same route and everyone get's their pathetic feelers hurt. i don't get it
i literally can't wait.

I begrudgingly agree w you on this point. "You know that you're over the hill, hell, with this change there are high point holders who will actually now have a chance at their chosen glory tag instead of continuing to see it slip away while their body gives out.
i can't decide if i should choose a Buzzism or a Greenhornism for this one.
i think i'll go with sniveling bitches![]()
