Moved 50 yards maybe but uphill eating and then bedded again. Can’t decide if it is a high shoulder “in the void” or a low brisket but for sure he is favoring the left front leg.

If he stays in the general vicinity he is pretty close to where I made the stalk on him yesterday. Maybe 100 yards from where he was when they busted me and moved out. I should be able to repeat that. With only one sheep and him not feeling great I might have a chance.

With the blood you showed earlier, and the way he is acting, I'm going with a lower leg hit. Hopefully it hasnt closed up yet. He's just slowly bleeding out?

Wounded animals can still be on super high alert. I tried this on a bull once upon a time a few days later thought I’d just sneak in and finish the job I never got inside of 500. Be extra cautious time will be on your side if he hasn’t moved

The night will be long, I’m sure. But you’re gonna get him. If he’s not dead in the morning, I bet he’ll be plenty stiff and not far.

Getting close to dark and he is still laying there in his second bed with his head resting on the ground again.
Really can’t tell where he is hit other than favoring his left leg and seeming like he isn’t feeling good.

Shooting sticks or other stabilizing rest at the ready, mind the thermals and squeeze off the finishing round when you are steady and confident.
Perhaps tonight you can use the OnX line distance tool to have a good idea of ranges from likely shooting locations.

Going to bed.
Not getting up early in the morning, just before 6:00 since we are just going to walk 10 yards and try to glass up that ram again and try to decide what to do.
Will do some looking on ranges from likely spots tonight. For sure will have the shooting sticks at the ready!
