2024 New Mexico Draw Results

Pretty decent year in the draw.

I drew muzzleloader deer and antelope rifle
daughter drew cow elk rifle
son drew mule deer rifle

NM is a hard state to draw. I have been trying for subpar elk draws for 8 years now and I am 0 for 8. Congrats to all those that drew.

Congrats to those successful in the draw this year! All red for me - maybe better luck next year.

I have come to that conclusion, at least to start. The Hornady SST look tempting for a try - right at 3000 fps, and when it comes down to it once you get out to about 275 yards gotta go clickety click or be good at estimation of elevation.

You'll be ok. You should be able to get closer. Just slow and steady stalk. Good luck!
