This week CPW will let about 308 lucky folks know they drew Bighorn Sheep tags in Colorado and over 200 folks who drew Mountain Goat.
When you find out you were that lucky son of a gun, we hope one of the first things you do is make plans for June 20th to join dozens and dozens of previous tag holders at the 6th annual Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society’s Bighorn Sheep and Mtn Goat Hunter Meet & Greet.
We host this free event for the sole purpose of giving sheep and goat tag holders opportunity to sit down with guys who hunted your tag in recent years for sharing insights, strategy, and going over maps to help you get a strong start to your scouting and hunt planning. HUNTERS HELPING HUNTERS!!
Last year about 330 folks participated, with most attending just for the opportunity to share what they learned when they had the tag with the newly minted tag holders. Pretty amazing and cool to see guys paying it forward in such a meaningful way. Over the last 5 years of this event, we have seen so many current and previous tag holders build lasting friendships, show up to help scout and hunt etc. after meeting at Meet & Greet.
RSVP to attend here:
