Attend Sportsmen's Day at the Capitol & Get Latest on an Anti-Hunting Ballot Measure

With so many prominent issues to be decided the final month of Colorado’s legislative session, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation would like to invite you to Sportsmen’s Day at the Capitol on Thursday, April 18 from 11 AM to 2 PM on the east lawn. Other outdoorsmen and women will be in attendance.
It is critical we make a strong showing as legislators consider a slew of gun bills, habitat protection, private land conservation incentives and other important legislation. All this takes place against the backdrop of a fall election that may include a ballot measure to ban the hunting of mountain lions and bobcats.
Please try to attend, if possible. We also ask that you contact your legislators to request they be there too. It is important to remind them that they represent hunters and firearms’ owners.
If you cannot attend, please take a moment to send an invitation to your legislators using the prepared message by hitting the TAKE ACTION button. If you do plan to be there, you can customize your message to ask if they would be willing to meet with you at the Capitol.
Colorado hunting and wildlife management are at a turning point and it is more important than ever that RMEF members and the outdoor community are engaged.
