After 7 years I finally drew a 2nd season bull tag
Public land has received heavy pressure last few years and what I could gather not many elk there. So ended up on 70,000 ac mine property through new voucher program. Similar to public land, because public is allow on there to recreate , just limited elk hunting
Two good encounters calling Bulls in, but no shots. Ended up on private land after meeting several local landowners. On day 5 called in a nice 6X6 and harvsted him
Just had scored 326 4/8
It is really tough to draw, especially nonresident, but well worth putting in every year lots of quality elk and eastern Ky folks are great people
I will add photo if I can figure out how
