1st Juvenile Deer Hunt

This coming weekend will be Alexis' first deer hunt carring a gun

She just turned 6 years old on 08-31-05

She will be on a Wildlife Management Area, she is allowed 1 doe, 1 buck, [which must have 4 on one side] and all the WILD HOGS she can shoot.


I took my Encore and bought a 15" pistol barrel in .308, it has a 3" muzzle brake on it and bought an extra walnut butt stock and cut 4" off it and added a slip on Limb Saver recoil pad. Worked down a load with 120gr bullets for it.

She is VERY excited and really wants to shoot a pig.
