10'x10' Alaknak Tent

I have horrible timing. The sale as still on yesterday morning, but had been pulled by the time I tried to order one last night. Back to the drawing board.

Are you talking about one of the flex bow style tents pointer? Was it rigged with a stove?
I am talking about those. The one I used was not rigged for a stove. I talked to the guys at Kirkhams (makers/sellers) of Springbar tents. They said they do not make them or advise that they be altered for stove use. Next he told me, "With guy lines on the corners, and a cutout in the floor, they work REALLY well with a stove...;)". A guy, years ago, on 24hour did just that. Put a cutout in the floor and a stove jack in to allow his Kodiak to use a stove. I think it'd work slick as poop!

Randy I use an alaknak II and really like it. It does get a little condensation in cold weather but crank the stove and it's nice. I wouldn't trade it for the weight and inconvenience of a wall tent plus it has a floor
