You all hanging in down there?
Hail, tornadoes and now flooding.
Chiggers are going to be terrible.
I still have family down there and they are safe but some of you have to be facing some weather related issues.
Stay safe and hoping you all catch a break soon.
Another congrats to the SFASU Sylvans Club. Champs at the 65th Association of Southern Forestry Clubs Conclave in Florida.

Checking in with our local folks, did everyone survive the big rain yesterday without too much damage?
Our gauge showed 2.87 inches in about 1 1/2 hrs or so. We have some water in the basement but not bad.
Casper, Wheatland etc, did you get some big rain too?
Really hoping Mullen scar isn't now...
Well, found this bull dead on our way up to do a little ranch work. Some idiot shot it from the highway.
Sadly , the GW left the head attached but it was gone when we came back by, brazen idiots it seems I guess.
Shot once in the neck and once in the antlers.
Truck in background just shows...
UPRR's 4014 is hitting the rails again this summer. If you haven't seen it take the time. I would recommend going to a smaller town where it will be stopped so you can get up close and personal, so to speak, with the locomotive. You also need to see it running, find a crossing and watch it go...
Anyone hear of the accidental shooting near Mt View I believe ? I know it was somewhere on Western side and it's a real heartbreaker from what I've heard.
Prayers to the family involved.
Looks like all of Bozeman came to Laramie for the game today.
Got ran out of our favorite watering hole last night by your alumni folks in town for the game. They flat out took it over, lol.
We'll see all you fine folks after the game.
Powder River Let 'er Buck !
Caught this nice bull crossing the road to feed on the way out form cutting firewood.
Anyone with a southern Wyo tag ?
Post up some more moose pics if you have them. Hoping for something decent for the spouse in Western Wyo this fall.
Let me start by stating , we have private access that we worked for many years to build with a landowner. Normally we hunt management bucks but this year had access for any deer, one big buck.
Found this guy Friday at dusk checking out some doe. Found him bedded Saturday about 1/2- 3/4 mile from...
Had plans for a cow elk hunt but came across this wounded bull. We have limited access on private and part of it is for any wounded animals we see and can take if we have a license. Landowner does not want anything wounded suffering so we oblige if possible.
Big surprise when we came across the...
Thought I would do a little experiment. Hung my various camo articles of clothing in front of some cover then back into the cover to see how it looks.
I wear a mix of King of the Mountain wool, Core4element, Kryptic camo and some cotton Realtree Max-1 and Mossy oak Brush.
Low, cloudy light for...
Thought from non residents on this. I'm wondering of it takes your hunting access away like our other wilderness areas ? Not a big fan here but we'll see.

My phone went off tonight with news of a wildfire in Sybille Canyon. The highway is closed.
The ranch we work for my be burning, part of it anyway.
WYDOT webcam shows the fire but I can not tell which side of the highway it is on. Looks to be across the highway but the road makes a turn west of...
Went up into part of the Badger Creek fire, 2018, area to cut some firewood. Here are a few pics of the area we cut in this weekend.
Undergrowth of new aspen and lots of wild flowers and other lush undergrowth. This area was mainly Spruce/fir stands of timber with some pine and aspen...
