NV, I am no means and expert at whitetail, I just use the same tactics i do muley hunting and glass...1 reason I hunt them before there rut on a general tag is cause there still lazy and you can glass them out feeding or bed 1 down, giving you time to make the stalk. I have hunted them in the...
I killed a whitetail in unit 18 the other day up to riggins, saw 2 bucks, shot 1 of them, seen 2 bucks one of which was a whopper packing my buck out the next day, just about every drainage holds whitetails up there.....I just spend time behind the glass to find them...im sure if you find a good...
I killed one with bow a few yrs ago there in prescott on the k4 ranch...but theres some good hunting right around it, if i rember right, walnut creek...they are dang near blind and if you spook them and they dont have your wind they may run right over the top of you! There was some good public...
Hey nice bull....good meeting you up there on the mnt and lance..it took you guys a little while to get back up out of that hole...i drove clear around the mnt and could still see your bikes there at 4:30....it was fun watching.....i found a good bull a few drainages south in a pocket that hadnt...
I had an antelope here in idaho walk into my waterhole once that looked exactly the same......you can tell where he fevered from an infection and lost some hair around the wound but was back to acting healthy......he came in wide of my blind and i got out and stalked him several hrs but couldnt...
I have a 270 wsm and its my main gun an absolutely love it. I shoot handloads topped with 140 grn. accubonds, i am sure the 300 wsm is a good gun as well but I have heard more then one person complain about the recoil being so sharp on it.....
I have the same scope but in a 50mm objective.......great scope, but u need to know fully how to use it to make it effective....... you have to spend some time shooting your gun to know at what power and what ring to use for what distance.......the sidefocus is just that for focusing, its not...
That fight won't happen, if it ever does it will be a non title contest. Dana is pissed with anderson, I don't think hes going to get any of his wishs for awhile
No gar here, just mostly all commons although there are a few grass carp in the state but its rare to shoot one. We have some big commons though, a friend of mine shot the state record last yr 43 pds, but its not uncommon to shoot 25-30 pders each time out
bog-pod, I use it for my spotting scope and also doubles as shooting sticks....... I use to carry around a harris bi-pod, there bulky and extra weight thats not needed.......IMO
Bobber fishing is for women, get on the other side of that plum and bounce the bottom, thats real fishing :) Ahh I can't give a rookie to much crap, one of my first steelhead was right there at the "pole yard" within feet of where you stand with a bobber.........
Why not just go with the custom rifle, you already use MR packs, I don't consider those in the average joes price range, nor kennetreks either. Most the products your pimping right now hits only a small market of consumers anyways........
I have hunted St. Maries, lots of places to go around there, a few yrs ago they did have some deep snow and they had a significant die off, theres some dang nice whiteys that come from out of there, the picture board at the local gas/sporting goods stop was loaded with bigguns from the locals......
