    There are a few newer hotels on the main road. I was there about 5 years ago, so things may have changed. The town itself isn't very big, but its the biggest one close to Flaming Gorge, so you can expect that type of business. If I remember correctly, there is a WalMart Supercenter there as well.

    SO are these bears closer to the Kodiak or closer to the Coastal Brown bear lines? I know a few people who would go kill some of those bears and the gov't wouldn't have to pay for it. Just give the tags out and make the hunter pay for transportation.

    Peaches and something brilliant

    Nice harvest there Nut. The trees around us aren't ready yet...nice crop in the making, but haven't ripened up yet. We are thinking about heading over to the Palisade Peach Festival (near Grand Junction, CO) August 15 if we can swing it. I just love tree ripened peaches.
