My mom just told me there was a quake in LA. My son just got back to LA on sunday after a week long visit home. I wish he wasn't out there.http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/Maps/Los_Angeles.html

It was a moderate one. Some of the women were screaming and crying. We had to evacuate the building, so I had to make sure everyone got out. Then I went to lunch....by the time I got back, everyone was back to work.

I called home, and just a couple of pictures fell - none of my mounts or furniture.

Dude - you need to get out of ther eso I can start rooting for SoCal to fall into the pacific again. The internet sucks - you start getting to know people who live in all parts of the country (world in some cases).

Well, earthquakes have become more frequent lately. I constanly hear in the news that shakes happen somewhere. As well, as seismic monitoring shows about 600-700 shocks per day as seen on this link: https://allatra.tv/en/earthquakes.
It's good that most of them are very weak. However, the tendency to increase seismic activity growing.
