Pretty good, the physical training has been intense so far. Logistics are wearing me out right now.
I only have 3 or 4 days betweem Montana and Alaska, so basically I have to prepare my equipment for both trips before I leave.
I just started dehydrating food today, and hopefully I can keep up with it as the vegatables come out of the garden.
I'm just taking mountain house to Alaska, so that saves some time there.
I sent my rifle to be accurized in early March and I just talked to Gordy this week. He hopes to have it back to me the first week of August. That only leaves 3-4 weeks for practice and getting comfortable with a new brand of scope.
On top of that, getting finances, work, and Wife ready for me to go off the grid for 30 days.

Nobody will ever know the truth, or exactly what happened. There is no video, and I've been to court enough times I know 99% of people (including 100% of attorneys) lie like a rug. So I don't bother to follow these high profile media circuses.

This one has always been the highest hurdle for me.
I'm really interested in your sheep hunt, I'm giving serious thought to giving it a shot for the next 3 or 4 years. I'm just not ready to commit to giving up other out of state hunts to give that tag the time that it deserves. I'm gonna have lots of questions for you after you return.

I do too. Anyone that goes into those unlimited zones and kills a sheep has pulled off a hell of a feat.Doing it as a N.R. without a guide would be the ultimate trophy IMO.
Just going into that country solo and not becoming a grizz turd is a win in my book.

It's needed crown molding for the past 6 years. I've installed a few thousand feet for paying customers since, but haven't found time for the volunteer work. Wife keeps threatening to hire someone.
My wife can't see well with out her glasses and she told me once, "When I first wake up, before I put my glasses on, it looks like we have crown molding."
I told her to take her glasses off everytime she goes into the room.

Unfortunate situation that could have been avoided by either individual. Both Zimmerman and Martin could have walked away. Bottom line is when someone pounds on you and smashes your head into the sidewalk (according to eyewitness court testimony) you have the right to defend yourself.

In Florida, teenagers are deemed to have reached the age of consent at 14. They can determine who and where they will reside, and parents no longer can exert parental control if the child wants to be on their own. So, basically any juvenile can be considered an adult once they reach the age of 14, in Florida. Just thought some might be interested in that little factoid.
On another front. An admitted burglar and his accomplice were confronted by a homeowner here in SC. The burglar shot and killed the homeowner and his defense attorney has tried to use SC's Stand Your Ground Law as his defense. He admits to killing the homeowner after breaking into the house; but claims the homeowner was reaching for a gun so he shot and killed him. The trial judge denied the plea, but the attorney has filed an appeal with the SC Supreme Court. Surprisingly, the Court is considering hearing the case!!!!!!!
The point is that Stand Your Ground laws are at the core of many of the legal cases being filed, today. The criminals and their attorneys are trying to bastardize the intent of the law and force states to rescind such laws. Many people are under the impression that Zimmerman's defense used those laws, when in point of fact, they declined to do so and instead simply used self defense as his plea. If SYG had been used, it would have made any civil law suits illegal, since SYG will not allow families or victims to file a civil suit once the SYG defense has been used successfully.

People want to react like he was a child. HE WAS NOT! He was big enough to overcome another man and beat him into the ground.
Ted Nugent hit it right on the head with his statement. This ridiculous case would not have even made the news if it had been black on black, like happens about 30 times a week in Detroit and Chicago. Where is Jesse and Al and our wonderful president every week when several black kids are innocently killed by their own neighborhood thugs in their own "hoods"? It is time for our "leaders" to quit lock-stepping with the new black panthers (purposely small caps). They are nothing but thugs, but seem to be dictating to our "leaders" what is important.

That's funny biscuit hunter! A-con is dead on. What was mister innocent Maartin doing with his hoodie on? Selling girl scout cookies? Z was doing what he had 900 days previous and nobody died. Lets consider for a moment how many black men die at the hands of black men daily and nothing is said of it.....but let one black die from a white hand and we have a revolution. So what about when OJ slaughtered Nicole and Ron Goldman? Where were the revolutionist then? The whites should have burned LA to the ground......but oh yea......that's right....we're civilized. You know why we have racial profiling?......Because when 70% of your crime is being committed by young black men, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where to look!
