Hunting pronghornin unit 18 this year. I see that 129 has leftover leftover cow elk tags. Any thoughts on elk in this unit?

Spoke with Erika, the biologist for the region. Spent most of my time on antelope since that is my primary animal to hunt. She said there are elk in the grassland area but not alot. Thought it would be a pretty slim chance of finding one. Thought of the "Dumb and Dumber" quote. Looks like, I will stick with the antelope tags.

I have a cow tag for that unit to go along with my antelope tags in the area. Probably should have just bought an extra lope tag, but oh well.

Scored a bull out of 129 from 2016. 373 gross. The lucky hunter was antelope hunting and had a general elk tag in his pocket.
