Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on hunting antelope in Unit 43 of Wyoming. I am hunting with my dad and this will be our first time in Unit 43.

I've done a lot of map scouting and looked into potential access points, but I'm hoping to get some additional tips from those who have experience in this unit. Any advice on access, terrain, antelope behavior in this area, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help!

We've hunted this unit twice with ease. Lots of 2 tracks to travel but they are pretty wary as soon as they see a vehicle. We also hunted the diamond lake management area and one day we saw a lot of animals and the next none and again another day plenty of animals again. So be persistent. Expect 300 yard shots as it is gently rolling terrain with no cover. If I remember correctly they kind of hung near the best grass also where all the cattle were. Good luck, and you may have already hunted this unit.
