WY Area 7 - Veterans Hunt - Anyone Scouted it?

Hello All, New to the forum and will be going after Pronghorn for the first time this year. Myself and 5 other combat Veterans all drew tags for Buck Antelope in area 7. We all live out East and have had NO chance to scout the area other than on maps and reading posts. Wondering if anyone is in...

Success with antelope goes way up if you just get away from the road. I tag out typically every year because (one I am a meat hunter) I park and walk 1/2 to 2 miles away from the road and sometimes sit and do flagging and other tricks to get them to come closer. Road hunting works against you believe it or not.

Wow, what a nice guy. I just moved away from Gillette and had been wanting to try unit 7 as a 2nd choice but never got to (stubborn hunting partner).

I used to hunt deer and elk in Gillette area until I found the one I hunt now. Gillette has a ton of deer and antelope.

Chased goats all day today in 7 with the bow. Closest I got was 54 yards from a shooter. 50 yards is my max.
