Wife and I finally finished remodeling the house. Lots of projects along the way.

Wife made driftwood lamps.

Butcher block walnut countertops. Cut the tree out of in-laws driveway, had it milled, and made the counters.

We put heart pine, wide plank flooring in the bedrooms. Good chance some of these boards came off of one of my job sites, the contractor that bought the timber was selling ALOT to the mill I got the flooring from. I used extra flooring to case the doors and windows in the greatroom.

What did you back that with or is it just coloring? And what wood did you use?
I want to make one for hunting but just haven't committed the time yet.

Silk backing on hickory. Started this hobby when my kid got older and realized I needed something to do.

Some really beautiful woodwork on here ! These are walnut coffee tables my Dad made for me.. he added some oak detail in them.

Finished up the p-51 mustang. Made from tongue depressors, some plexiglass canopy, and aluminum for the blades that does spin.

My grandfather piloted one on VLR bomber escort missions off of Iwo Jima to Japan and back.

Free is a great thing. Several of my power tools have been given to me by co-workers. I need to get my barn straight so I can get my uncles wood planer. It's an old one with 6' working width.

It came from some carpentry shop he worked at many decades ago. They used to do doors, cabinets, tables, and o the custom stuff.

My wife's younger sister made this cutting board for us as a highschool woodworking project a little over 50 years ago. It got very worn and finally cracked in the middle. We still kept it as a kitchen ornament. I always figured I would rehab it someday. I glued it back together and planed the bottom side then glued a piece of 3/16 ply for strength. Next is surfaced the working side flat and added 6 costs of butcher block finish.

I've been corrected! She was in Jr. High and 12 years old,,,,53 years ago.
