Wolf with a 40 cm head

Cool! wonder what took off it’s head? They Outta test tube some of that dna with some Timberwolf and see what we end up with..

Incredible how well it retained the hide/fur, etc! That is incredible! I've heard Siberian wolves are still the largest in the world.
I'd love to hunt them in the vast wilderness of Russia...
 
Personally I’d go beetles but some guys prefer Maceration.
 
If you look at the tape measure the head is only about 30cm (6 to 36) to behind the ears, not much bigger than a current wolf.

Awesome, nonetheless. And the cave lions are quite the find too.
 
There is a vertical cave in Wyoming which, as I recall, has three types of wolves. The Dire, then another similar species, and finally, the modern wolf. It is quite a place for cool mammal bones.
