I thought I may have had it a few weeks ago but tests came back negative. Doc told me today that the only confirmed case in MT this year so far was up in Libby.

Daughter number one contracted it two years ago. Understanding is it really does a number on the immune system? She is a runner/marathoner and has one foot/ankle that will go wonky at the strangest times (me thinking tired?) when she runs. Talked to her tonight along with SIL and foot doc said to take it easy again.
Perhaps PT to attempt to re-train foot/ankle? I don't think he is looking at neurological? Running is her thing so open to any options......

Had it, didn't like it. I haven't had any nerve issues but I do have some weird spells now ans then that seem to be associated with the virus getting into my glands. I drink tonic water with quinine and it makes a very noticeable difference. Sounded like voodoo until I tried it.

Good that it didn't hit you too hard.
Her big issue is that she can do a short or long run workout and never knows when it is going to hit her and then is like her foot/ankle is no longer connected to her leg. I keep telling her that it is when she is tired. But, what do I know? I am just dad.

And just learned after she FINALLY went to a specialist today...... She has the Mersa infection in her body. Doesn't really have Mersa, but it is in her system and was when she had Miss Grace. This chit has been going on since November 2011 when she went to visit her best friend after a surgery. Then on top of that she gets hit with WN when her immune system has already been compromised. Everybody just a little pizzy right about now.
