Attended the SB 400 bill (2000 wilderness permits) hearing today, a few familiars from this site were in attendance. Hopefully Ben will update later on tonight. The testimony from the proponents and especially the sponsor - Chaz Vincent (R) - made owl crap seem quite desirable. It is truly amazing that so many of these assinine, self serving, and public-be-damned bills can find any traction whatsoever.
