Wise Food Company freeze dried food

Both Costco and Midway are selling this stuff in 5 gallon buckets. 170 servings. Seems to be meatless.

Anyone have any experience with it?

I think I had the lasagna once. Wasn’t my favorite. That one did have beef in it.

I looked at it when I realized they were completely out of Mountain House. Didn’t really get me excited.

Some of these companies use soy byproduct rather than real meat.

I actually like the wise backpacking products that I have tried, however if you buy it in the buckets it typically comes in "family servings" so you get a few large bags rather than the individual servings in the resealable "backpacking" style, these are not made to just pour water into...you typically need a pot or at least a large ziploc or something because if you're backpacking the servings would be huge per bag. All the backpacking ones actually have meat in them too

Wise is made by the Mormons so I trust it enough to have bought a 6 month supply for 2 as my core prepping supply.
