The wife and I bought a freeze dryer last year and what I was scared of has happened. I spent $1800 used it for 3 months and then pretty much forgot about it. Well it is time to dust it back off and start making some more meals. Unfortunately there is a pretty good learning curve to this freeze dryer thing. Out of five or six recipes I have found one that is great and one that's ok. So I am on the look for some freeze dried recipes.
I figured that 100 ish meals would pay for the machine and save me in the long run. In addition to being allergic to corn which is in 95% of commercial freeze dried food. I am ready to get the machine fired back up and start making some good meals.
Anyone out there that has started this journey? Any websites that you have found useful? I have found The Hungry Hiker and she has some good looking recipes but you can never have to many.
TIA
