Yesterday we had quite a surprise for supper, tornado !!
Spouse got home from work and said come outside and look at this cloud. A little break in the treeline and we saw it , north of town.
Thankfully looks like damage was negligible, passed over mostly pasture land.
It was on the ground for over an hour moving very slowly, 10-15 mph.

I live South of town and glanced to the North and was shocked to see the tornado. Watching that cloud was simply amazing. Glad there were not any serious injuries or deaths.

Took this picture off our deck last night at 5:44 pm.

Probably about 30 minutes later:

It looked like it broke up when it hit the Laramie Range, but then reformed again, crummy photo:

We wondered if it dissipated at the ridge. Interesting that it reformed, looks like on top.
Sounds like all are safe, thankfully.

Pretty cool.. The good thing about a tornado in Wyoming, odds are against it hitting a building or person.

I saw an EF-4 tornado that hit Henryville, Indiana. They're an incredible, powerful phenomenon.

Unless you were in Wright, Wyoming a few years ago. Amazing, all that space and it actually hits a town.

good luck to all

No doubt. I have been in a tornado in Oklahoma that ripped the roof off our pole barn and damaged a few buildings while we took cover in the bathroom with a mattress as protection. I have also driven through a areas that were hit in Oklahoma a few times by f-4's and it looked like a war zone in the middle east. Stroud and Moore Oklahoma were simply amazing.

I have seen several. Awesome sight. Our tornados are not the killer. Take out a barn and maybe a few houses.

I am awe of those tornados in central Tx. Wichita Falls and south. Some of those tornados are a mile wide. Oklahoma is punished well.

Feel the power and cower in those environments.

Wow. Awesome pictures. Glad to hear that no one was hurt.
