which new bow for elk hunting?

Mathews Switchback is an incredible bow, and the new Hoyt Trykon (sp?) is supposed to be very similar. My advice would be to buy the best bow offered at a local bow shop. The only bow shop with 100 miles of me sells Mathews, so the Switchback was an easy choice. You want to have someone nearby to fix things when they need fixed.

I tested the Trykon XL a few weeks back for the local rep.......it is, by far, the quietest and most shockfree bow I've EVER tested.

SHOOT THE NEW TRYKON FROM HOYT....It is just like Bohntr Said it is SO QUIET AND SHOCK FREE THE CAM SYSTEM IS AWSOME, THE PARALLEL LIMBS ARE AWSOME TOO...But before you do anything go shoot a few different ones before you pick one out...Laterz....
