What powder would replicate factory load for 300 WSM

Hi,

I would like to replicate a factory load from Federal. The original load was 180 Nosler solid base bullets with 67.5 grains of powder. (It shot well)

What powder would work?

Also, pulled a Nosler 180 grain accubond from a factory Norma 300 wsm and it has 68.6 grains. What powder do you think they used?

Factory powders don't necessarily have a retail analog. Go to Nosler load data and see what gave them the best accuracy.

H4350 and 300wsm is a magical combination, sometimes the stars align and give us perfection.
H4350 in a WSM is the equivalent of H1000 and 215's in a 300wm. It just works.

What kind of velocity are you guys getting with the H4350?

2911 w/62.7 (180 TSX) ... neck size only so have to keep pressures in check.

Norma may use Norma MRP powder. Federal likely a proprietary (not commercially available) powder, but from the charge weight it is not H4350. You won’t find them publishing what they use, so your best bet is to develop your own load for your rifle. As everyone else has said, H4350 works great. That’s what I use (63gr gives me 3070fps, but that’s with a 166gr mono).
