6.5 CM as a hunting cartridge... why?

[MS 9x56]

If you think a 308 has too much recoil learn how to properly mount and hold a rifle or take up archery.

[Redmt]

It's pretty common knowledge that a well placed shot from a 6.5 Creedmoor kills deader and quicker than any other caliber. It's a fact because I said so. Please don't try and argue the facts without supporting evidence.

I’ll let the 80+ grown men I saw flinching like crazy last weekend know. I’ve got a feeling archery would be too challenging for them.

Shut up and work harder like we did in my day, oh and pass the crossbow.

After mostly shooting around people who are semi serious about it, it’s a good annual reminder of what the average casual hunter is like.. you’d be shocked how hard it is to keep bullets in a 3” dot at 100 yards for many folks.

Nope. Not shocked. Even shooters with low recoiling rifles have issues. But it is easier to dismiss those shooters inabilities. mtmuley

[brockel]

Damn some of you need some hunting tags to fill

[DFS]

I already filled mine with my 6.5 __ . I shot a deer with a 222 and 50 grain v max as a child. I literally don’t care what anybody shoots. Long range shooting is hard to take that isn’t ever going to come back to what it should be.

I just #HAMMERED a #PRIVATELAND #MONARCH with a #708 who would want a #NEEDMORE no doubt those puny .264 bullets couldn't kill a #TOAD in a #PASTURE at 80 yards

Fact in point. There is only one degree of dead.

That’s why they make crossbows.
