Yesterdays gun pr0n and important stuff threads got me wondering...what else are you into besides guns, hunting, camping and fishing?

Me? A good bit of my free time is centered around food and wine. From gardening, canning, foraging, collecting and drinking wine, exploring new restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen. If it has to deal with food I'm into it, from Michelin Starred swanky restaurants to lastnights dinner which was take-out hotwings, onion rings and beer.

I like exotic cats too, sadly we had to put him down a couple months ago.

Other than hunting, camping and fishing, I really love to snowmobile. Even occasionally love to see my buddies buried after doing something dumb.

Family above all...work I enjoy, motorcycles, music, art, literature....shooting and hunting are just things to enjoy when the other priorities are met.

Filmmaking is a passion of mine, but I'm at a crossroads with it. Probably going to give up on it, and go back to shooting stills.

JRy- I am impressed, I am not sure I would have been able to walk away from that table under my own power.

My wife and I also enjoy food and wine, and I too am addicted to smoking things on a green egg. Right now I am getting prepared to make a bunch of smoked salmon and pheasant for fall.
Little Brisket here.

In the summer we spend most of our free time at the lake (SW of of Brainerd, for you MN guys).

I play hockey year round with a team of guys I work with. I am number 18.

We also do quite a bit of skiing in the winter. This pic is from Big Sky.

Honestly I will pretty much do anything outside: golf, wakeboard, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowshoeing.

But not a Furry, slight difference.

We have the national Furry convention here in Downtown Pittsburgh every year.

I was driving to work at 5:30 AM one morning and a pack of Furry's doing the walk of shame, crossed the street in front of me. 3 had their costumes tied around their waste and were carrying their animal costume heads under one arm.

That afternoon, a dragon carrying a foam chainsaw(with a 6' bar) crossed in front of me.

July 4th week is a great time of year to work downtown.

Photography is an old passion that I've been tinkering with again. Might even set up a ceramics studio and get back to making pottery.

But for now, I live in MT. Is there really anything better to do than hunt and fish?

At 35 I still play baseball in an 18 and over league. Skiing also takes up a few weekends after chukar season is over.

Besides being a hunting enthusiast I am an avid off roader which keeps me busy tinkering and fabricating parts for my 4x4 vehicles. Currently working on a '95 Suzuki, 4 door, 4x4 project. I see that many are into cooking. I am into eating and my wife is truly a gourmet cook. BTW, we have a pact. I don't cook and she doesn't weld. Works great for each. We live on 5 acres and have lots to tend each day. I do 99% of my property projects myself. At times I want to tear out what remains of my sparse hair, but good 'nuff! We love to travel the U.S. and the world. Lots to see and exotic places to visit. MTG

Other than the little bit I get to hunting and fishing, for the past 6 years my hobbies have been my 2 boys...both the fun and not so fun things they are involved in.

Prior to that, my wife and I liked to travel (domestic and abroad) and to ski. I guess one of my current hobbies is planning on hobbies to take up once I get more time. Photography and shooting competitions top that list currently, with stockmaking #3. However, if you talk to my wife she'd probably say my #1 'other thing' is to complain about where I live...
